The 2022/2023 AAREP ATL CRE Minority Mentorship Program is designed specifically to nurture and support minority commercial real estate professionals who are on the track toward a successful career in commercial real estate while offering a "safe place".
The inaugural cohort will include 5 AAREP ATL mentees and 5 mentors comprising a diverse group of individuals in background and experience. Applicants will be notified of acceptance within the first week of October.
The program participants will be invited to a Mentor/Mentee networking mixer slated for October 17th. The program will officially kick-off on January 16th and end on June 12th.
The 2022/2023 cohort will accept mentee/mentor pairings from the following CRE disciplines:
AAREP ATL members who are interested in participating in the program will be required to complete the application below.
Applications will be evaluated on criteria that include demonstrated or potential leadership, community involvement, and individual achievements in the candidate’s professional position, community or the AAREP ATL organization.
There is no fee to participate in this program, but all accepted mentees will be expected to have paid in full annual organization dues.
*Before you submit this application, make sure that you can commit fully to the program in every capacity.
*By checking the box to the left, this serves as my signature and acceptance of the terms and commitment outlined in this application.
You will be pleased to know that the participation in the AAREP ATL Mentorship Program will require little preparation of materials. Note-taking and journaling for the development of your strategic plan will be allowed for during mentor/mentee sessions, although you are encouraged to invest time as needed to make the most of this opportunity.
Our current programming will require you to complete a strengths/weaknesses assessment that enable our mentors and facilitators to provide an evaluation of each participant’s leadership strengths and styles. Other than that, only your active participation in attending the AAREP ATL Mentorship Program mentor/mentee monthly in-person sessions is required.
We have an established attendance policy. All participants MUST attend the opening session. Inability to attend the opening session would require withdrawal from the program, and will result in the participant not graduating.
Due to the cohesive nature of the entire program, missing more than one (1) session will prevent the participant from graduating, and the participant will not be permitted to attend the remaining sessions. Unless otherwise posted or announced, all sessions will be scheduled at the mentor and mentees availability. To gain the most from each program, participants are required to be on time.
I have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions outlined in this application and the AAREP ATL Minority Mentorship Program.
