Our Mission

The Atlanta Chapter of African American Real Estate Professionals (AAREP ATL) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to advance current and emerging commercial real estate leaders from diverse backgrounds through exposure to industry resources, relationships, mentorship, community outreach projects, scholarships, business development, and career opportunities while providing a diverse talent pool to corporations and small businesses.

Our Three Pillars

We Open Doors

AAREP ATL is the pipeline for diverse human capital in the commercial real estate industry. We provide industry resources to advance the careers of minority CRE professionals, offer financial literacy opportunities for minorities, and expose underserved youth to the CRE industry.

Supporting Minorities

African American males make up only 1.3% of the commercial real estate industry, while even less are African American women. We offer opportunities to bring more minorities into the industry through networking, education programming, mentorship, and job opportunities.

Exposing the Youth

We offer exposure opportunities for minority youth from underserved communities through webinars, school presentations, fireside chats, and on-site commercial real estate field trips. We are intentional about bringing our future CRE leaders into the folds of our industry.

Providing Minority Talent

We partner with organizations who are committed to diversity and inclusion within their workforce. We assist with providing a diverse pool of minority commercial real estate talent ranging from entry-level to experienced and senior-level professionals through our national career portal.
